A compact Honeyeater found active in high foliage , This one came down at the end of a very hot day for a drink.

Female is a grey brown tone, in her own way quite striking.
This guy is not looking his best but still has a handsome pose. Prefers dryer habitats and eucalyptus forests.
The female Plum headed Finch with the not as vibrant colours as the male.
One of my favorite species of Finch, found on the East coast of Aust and adjacent Inland areas.
